Mrs. Marie-Jeanne Bourgeois
1936-2016
It is with great sadness that the family announces her death at Health Sciences North on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the age of 79 years.
Loving Wife and Best Friend of the Late Vital (1979), and Cherished Mother of Diane Bourgeois of Kapuskasing, Donald (Jocelyne) Bourgeois of Sturgeon Falls and of Roger Bourgeois of Iroquois Falls. Marie-Jeanne’s memory will be forever in the hearts of her Grandchildren the Late Steve Bourgeois (2007) and Kevin (Olivia) Bourgeois of Maple, ON. She was the proud Great Grandmother of Élouise and Lloyd. She is also survived by her sister Marie-Blanche as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her Parents Georges and Délia Cyr, her Husband Vital, her Grandson Steve and her siblings; Marie-Rose, Pauline, Émile, Marcel and Omer.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at paroisse Sts Martyrs Canadiens with the Reverend Father Léo Rancourt presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Iroquois Falls Access Transit, and would be appreciated by the family.
